I was appalled to see pictures of the huge cement pillars that will support an enormous bridge at Kesi Ghat. My memories of this place are of a quite spiritual place right on the parikrama path. Small boats crossing with devotees all around. A very peaceful area to chant in. I cannot imagine how a super highway bridge could fit in to the peaceful atmosphere of this place. It will destroy the charm and marr the landscape of this wonderful place.
I'm very sad that this is happening.

Any recognition by NGOs would be a great service to Radha Krishna. This also would help unify the factions in the Gaudiya Sampradaya. I also understand that pollution is also a big concern.
